Jennifer Goetz
I am the mother to a beautiful, 6.5 year old little girl named Jillian. In employed life, I’m a multimedia specialist. In my personal life, I’m an avid volunteer and fundraise for children, education and social causes such as homelessness and community clean ups. I’m heading in to my 6th gallon of donated blood and avidly believe that if I want my daughter to consider living near me as she matures and grows, it is up to me to build, invest in and work for the community I would hope she could be proud to call home.
Why did I create this art?
I made this artwork to make shirts for my daughter and myself. I made this art to send a message of belief, hope, solidarity and confidence… to release the pressure valve on my own emotions through the viral effect of sharing a message of empathy.
If you made it this far in my write up, thank you. If you’re buying a shirt, thank you for taking that next step in a purposeful, humanitarian process. I appreciate you. And now, your purchase will benefit someone else: By buying this item, you are also donating. You’re supporting women making healthy choices. You’re participating in empowerment.
I am grateful for you. I am grateful for this chance. I am grateful for art.
